Privacy Policy
What information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have.
1. Who we are
This policy explains how MaroSoft Services LLC ("MaroSoft", "we", "us"), 8206 Louisiana Blvd NE, Ste A #9342, Albuquerque, NM 87113, United States, handles personal information when you visit this website, contact us or buy our services. We are responsible for the personal information described in this policy.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
When you contact us, request a quote or become a client, we collect the information you provide, such as your name, email address, phone number, company name, billing address and details about your project.
Payment information
Card payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. Your full card number goes directly to Stripe and is never received or stored by us. Stripe shares limited details with us, such as your name, the card brand, the last four digits, the expiry date, your billing country and the payment status, so we can reconcile invoices and issue refunds. Stripe's handling of your information is described in Stripe's Privacy Policy.
Information collected automatically
This website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, for security and to keep the site running. Fonts on this site are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the font files are requested.
Information in client systems
When we build or maintain software for you, we may have access to data stored in your systems. We access that data only as needed to provide the services, and we treat it as confidential under our Terms of Service.
3. How we use information
- To reply to your messages and prepare quotes and proposals.
- To provide, deliver and support the services you buy.
- To send invoices, process payments and issue refunds.
- To keep records required for accounting, tax and legal purposes.
- To protect our website, our clients and ourselves against fraud and misuse.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising. For visitors in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on these legal bases: performing a contract with you, our legitimate interest in running our business, compliance with legal obligations, and your consent where we ask for it.
6. How long we keep information
- Inquiries that don't lead to a project: up to 2 years after our last contact.
- Client records, contracts and invoices: as long as required by tax and accounting law, normally 7 years.
- Data from client systems: deleted or returned within 90 days after our engagement ends, unless you ask us to keep it, for example under a care plan.
7. Security
We protect information with encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, two-factor authentication on our business accounts, and by limiting access to the people who need it. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you without undue delay if a breach affects it.
8. International transfers
We are a US company that works with clients and service providers in several countries, so your information may be processed outside the country where you live. When we transfer information, we use service providers that protect it with appropriate safeguards.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- access the personal information we hold about you,
- correct inaccurate information,
- ask us to delete your information,
- object to or restrict how we use it,
- receive a copy of it in a portable format, and
- withdraw consent you have given.
California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, use and disclose, and to request its deletion or correction. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.
To make a request, email admin@marosoftllc.com. We may need to verify your identity, and we will respond within 30 days. If you are in the EEA or UK, you may also complain to your local data protection authority.
10. Children
Our website and services are intended for businesses and are not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
11. Changes to this policy
